Gulf Traffic 2019: Technology for Smarter Cities

The International Road Federation (IRF Geneva) was pleased to support the Gulf Traffic Exhibition & Conference held from 9th to 11th December 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, UAE. The Conference brought to light some of the latest technologies and systems from global suppliers and put the Middle East in the spotlight – discussing transportation, innovation, disruption and Gulf traffic in great detail.

This year’s Gulf Traffic Conference and Exhibition counted among its numerous participants high-level government representatives and corporate executives, including representation from Arup and Haenni. Mr. Andrew Jenkins, Associate Director in Arup’s Transport Planning team in Dubai delivered a presentation on “Using data for better transport planning decisions”, ensued by a an insightful Q&A discussion thereafter.
