Principal Transport Specialist, Asian Development Bank (ADB)

Mr. Karki, Principal Transport Specialist is currently working for the CWTC in Asian Development Bank (ADB). He has over 37 years of experience in the transport sector, including design, implementation, sector policy and capacity building in the road sector. Prior to joining ADB, he was a Team Leader/Country Director at Nippon Koi. He completed his Master’s degree (M.Sc) in Highway Engineering from University of Strathclyde and a Master’s degree (ME) in Civil Engineering from Moscow Automobile and Road Construction Institute, in 1986. He is a Chartered Engineer from the Institution of Engineers (UK), Eur. Engineer, a fellow member of the Institution of Highways and Transportation and a certified Project Director from the International Project Management Association. He is a regular speaker in international conferences and author of various manuals and articles.
