About the Event
The International Road Federation (IRF) is proud to support once again the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC) returning to Barcelona next 15-17 November 2022.
Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress is the unique event to accelerate sustainable and intelligent urban mobility, a gathering of experts and leaders of the mobility and transport industry where to exchange ideas and foster business. Celebrated within the framework of Smart City Expo World Congress, the leading event for cities, for this edition are expected over 24,000 professionals from more than 700 cities and over 400 international speakers that will share their vision on how to build a more sustainable and livable urban future.
This year’s event will focus on seven strategic enablers touching the most pressing issues facing urban mobility: Micro Mobility, Public Transport, Automotive, Last Mile Logistics, Future and Digital Transportation, Transport Infrastructure, and Energy Transition and Efficiency.
After last year’s success, the event will blend the physical venue with the digital space, allowing us to reach a wider audience while giving everybody the opportunity to experience the event in full.
IRF will be hosting a session on “The future of Roads > Planning for Autonomous Mobility” delivered by IRF Deputy Director General, Gonzalo Alcaraz. The session will take place on Tuesday 15 November at 15:00 – 15:45 in the Mobility Agora Expo Area. The session will present new challenges as well as opportunities for the transport sector based on the experiences gathered through the delivery of the training “Planning for Autonomous Mobility”.
