HVT’s Research Knowledge Exchange Event

December 1 @ 2:00 pm 5:00 pm CET

About the event

The High Volume Transport Applied Research (HVT) will host on Wednesday 1st December at 14.00 – 17.00 CET, a Research Knowledge Exchange event to explore the evidence base for how transport in low- and middle-income countries responded to the challenges of COVID-19.

What can we learn from how transport systems responded to the last 18 months? How do we build more resilient transport for the future? How do we keep people and economies moving whatever the challenges? Hear the findings from HVT’s 20 COVID-19 Response & Recovery grant projects and be part of workshops on Gender, Disability, Urban Transport and Economic Resilience sharing experiences and ideas for future development.

The International Road Federation is pleased to support this event.  IRF Director General, Susanna Zammataro will be joining the panel of speakers to present the Global Transport Knowledge Portal (gTKP) hosting a comprehensive COVID-19 knowledge hub and other relevant research resources including from the ReCAP programme

The High Volume Transport Applied Research Programme (HVT), funded by UK Aid, undertakes research into sustainable transport development in LICs across Africa and South Asia.
