Dear Reader,
We are delighted to share a new issue of the IRF CrossRoads newsletter with you.
We will be celebrating World Sustainable Transport Day with the IRF Annual Conference, coming up online on 21 – 22 November. Under the theme “Innovation for Better Mobility Systems,” this virtual gathering promises to be a vibrant platform to get the latest from our sector and discuss megatrends that are affecting, and will affect, roads and mobility systems.
We are also excited to share with you two recently launched resources to which IRF has contributed: the new Learn Guide to empower the creation of road safety data-driven coalitions in Africa; and the IDB Report on Decarbonisation and Climate-Resilient Transportation in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Finally, an invitation to all of you to join the commemoration of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on Sunday 19 November. It’s the moment in which we remember, support, and act to save precious lives on our roads.
