EDITORIAL
Dear Reader,
It is my great pleasure to present to you this last issue of the IRF CROSSROADS newsletter for the year 2022.
For us at the IRF, this year has been blessed with the opportunity to organise, co-organise, and participate in over 35 transport and mobility events, many of which in person; kick off new initiatives; expand project work and provide hundreds of hours of training and capacity building. It has been a year with challenges, but also with plenty of opportunities to grow.
Innovation in all its forms has been central to IRF’s work this year. Innovation will be guiding us as we step up our efforts to bring our industry together to work collectively for a mobility that can meet the expectations of people, of the planet, and that leaves no one behind.
While we celebrate this year’s accomplishments, we already look ahead to the coming year, which will be particularly significant for IRF as the Federation celebrates its 75th anniversary. A unique occasion for all of us to celebrate together our IRF Family.
I would like to thank you on behalf of the entire IRF team for engaging with us. We look forward to building with your support more “partnerships to deliver” in 2023. As the year ends, let me take this opportunity to wish you, your teams and families a joyful holiday season and a wonderful new year.
Very best wishes!
